+ Studio new: a note from the Directors
We’re back after a relaxing Christmas break with lots of exciting project work ahead for 2024.

Kinross Woolshed is about to commence construction, an exciting residential project is nearing completion and our Archi Soccer team has made it to finals! Sadly, last week we said farewell to our Studio Support Coordinator, Eva who is off to Milan to complete her Masters of Fashion.

+ Project Update: Kinross Woolshed Hotel
A significant transformation and redevelopment of the Kinross Woolshed Hotel in Thurgoona, Albury. While paying homage to the history of the existing 130 year old woolshed structure our large scale pub design in addition to dining, function and bar areas also includes a six-lane bowling alley, upgraded playground, a stage for live music/events and much more.

+Project Update: Bank Street Residence
We are getting closer to completing this large residence in Melbourne. It’s a very unique property with a grand Victorian terrace fronting the street and three levels of high volume concrete structure at the rear forming new additions containing all the primary living spaces. To add to the scale there is a substantial basement area and an epic split level roof terrace that offers amazing 360 degree city views. This house was an incomplete project from the previous owners and despite the challenges presented in taking on a project like this, we had a shared vision with our clients which lead to our appointment. There is great complexity in the design, but fundamentally it has been an exercise in balancing raw with refined, heritage with modernity, homeliness with drama and playfulness with practicality. The builders of this project are Beaton Projects and we are exciting to see its completion in the near future.

 

 

 

 

+ Archi Soccer Finalists!

+ Farewell Eva, we’ll miss you!

Last week was a very emotional week for our team as we farewelled our beloved Studio Support Coordinator, Eva Robinson.

After four years with Techne Eva jets off to Milan to complete her Masters of Fashion.  We wish her all the best and look forward to regular updates from her studies and travels.
